I'm currently preparing my documents for a China tourist visa and I have a question regarding travel insurance. Some countries require mandatory travel insurance for visa approval, but I'm not sure if it's compulsory for a China tourist visa.
Do I need to submit proof of travel insurance along with my China tourist visa application, or is it optional? If it's not mandatory, would adding travel insurance improve the chances of approval? I'm planning a short 8-day sightseeing trip and want to make sure my application is complete and strong.
If anyone has recently applied for a China tourist visa, could you please share whether you included travel insurance and if it was specifically requested?
